F.A.Q.

"Where can I report this bug I found?"

-Throw it in the comment section! 90% of your problems can be solved by restarting the level. If all else fails, refresh the page.

"How do I save my game?"

-The game automatically saves your progress whenever you talk to an NPC or transition screens.

"Can I play this with a controller?"

-So we're gonna pretend like the controller icon wasn't in the upper right corner in the main menu?

"Oh, so you guys think you're funny?"

- :)

"Are you guys working on anything else?"

DEV NOTES:

A lot of firsts when into this, and sometimes it shows, but considering all we've accomplished, I couldn't be prouder for our first group practice project! We've got some really exciting, ambitious projects in mind but we felt it was important to start small and learn everything we can from any rookie mistakes.

We're big fans of the genre and we hope to make games that hopefully ADD something unique to the field of already amazing titles

SPECIAL THANKS:

-Ana, we really lucked out with your help. Thank you so much!

i enjoyed the game but the slightly janky jump is hard to get used to

Cool game, well done, I got a 23:1.18 time in speedrun [updated].

That said I found a bug, in the first level where SPOILER you lose the dash, if you reload the page the game thinks you have the dash again and cant double jump making finishing the level imposible, reseting the level with R doesnt work, you need to get out using Q, the issue doesnt present itself it you play it in one go.

(1 edit)

I gave it at least 8 hours of play, quite fun, Im going through some stuff in my life right now and this helped me relax a little, I dont know if you'll keep working the game, but I woudl suggest some things.

SPOILER(?), I discovered the super jump trick, wich was kind of hard to discover I dont know if that was supposed to be a secret or I was just dumb, or you hadnt implemented a level for it yet, If you're still working in the game I would add places where to use it

(extending few plataforms a little bit, or lowering some walls just a tad would allow you to skip some sections and you would just need to balance risk reward, a good location for this would be at the end of the first sliding hook, if you could make the last jump you could run and dash through that whole hook zone)

Also, if you dash out of a plataform, you can dash again midair, wich makes "that" section of the tutorial super easy, dont know if its a bug or not, I used it in my run.

Another thing, after you enter the levels with altered dashes and jumps, if you force quit with Q you can explore other levels with that setup for a while, I think clearing a stage resets it, not really useful, but somewhat annoying, and somewhat interesting.

I think I will leave it at that, I got a good enough time, and replayed the entire game (even unecesary helps) just to check if I could save any time, my speedrun is nowhere near perfect but other than playing it seamless without dying without saving, my route is the optimal I think.

Thanks for the game.

Hey! Thank you so much for your kind review! I'm glad El Fierro was able to help you relax a bit, it's nice to know that we've helped you in some way :)

We are actually planning on continuing to provide some small updates and bug fixes for this game, but it's actually the smaller version of a larger, more ambitious game that we're in the beginning process of making! Thanks for the feedback, we'll definitely be sure to keep your thoughts in mind!

Thanks for playing! And thank you again for the feedback!

Really cool game!
